UK government agency, UK Export Finance (#UKEF) provided billions of pounds of financial support to the high-carbon aviation sector since the Paris agreement in 2015, with Rolls Royce, Airbus, Boeing & British Airways taking the lion’s share.

It has effectively subsidised new airports, aircraft, & maintenance, despite stating that the oil-dependent industry is unlikely to begin cutting emissions “materially” until the 2030s.
