We've just discovered this awesome #uknature calendar on the #saveourwildisles website which lists loads of ways you can help wildlife throughout the year, from home. If you're interested in making your outdoor space a #biodiversity haven, check it out 👉 http://ow.ly/OALw50NECZ2

A field mouse has taken up residence in my yard garden, taking advantage of the starlings' habit of flinging seed everywhere from the bird table to stock up its larder each morning. It's relatively safe at the moment because my cat is confined to the house for health reasons so she, at least, won't be trying to catch it. Beautiful little creature and lovely to watch scurrying about.

I’m a bit late to the #WildIsles party this evening but only five minutes in and my jaw’s already on the floor 😲

Portbury Wharf Reserve on the River Severn. V peaceful and calm after the madness of the M5 on a Saturday! Saw a kestrel sat on a post eating something while I was in one of the hides, which was pretty cool 😊 #uknature #ukbirders #fungifriday

2/30: Conwy Wetland built during the construction of the A55 tunnel, 1991. Biggest trail is 2 miles/3.2km, another little one!
This was officially a work trip, with the biggest perk of course being able to spend some time walking the reserve! Such a beautiful place in a wonderful setting.
My sightings: 15 species, including lapwing, curlew, teal

If you have time next weekend, please consider taking an hour to participate in Big Garden Bird Watch! It’s really important for helping the RSPB, and other organisations, to understand the state of UK garden birds. It’s free and easy to sign up!
