Anyone curiouse this bench is a fairly good measure of snowfall yesterday (before the further snowfalls) this is a very sheltered location in a wide strath surronded by hills and the bench is in foresty just barely above the snowline.We have around a foot in sheltered places with more higher up and drifts in Caithness of two to four feet on B roads ,so travel is still risky ,if you dont need to please dont.(Scotlands chickens arent in flockdown)

This is the local stretch of the A837 nr Lairg /Rosehall,it also shows the edge of our B road ,techincally I suspect the roads classed as open ,
We have bitterly co,ld tempwell into the minuses I doubt a gritter will make much of an impact before the next snowfall

Woke up at 05:45. Left the house at 06:15. Struggled to pay to park with the stupid APCOA app and slow payment machine. Get onto the platform at 06:55. 07:05 train to #London cancelled. Back to the car to wait for the 08:13 train. Thank goodness for heated seats and #Tesla Theatre mode. Is this the “new normal”? #UKTravel #RailTravel
