I got sick of the heavy flesh wound inducing MTB pedals on my touring bike, so I decided to swap them for a pair of road #cleat pedals instead. I got a great deal for a pair of second hand #ultegra pedals (just 38 USD!).
I also got a set of cleat platforms if I ever need to ride flats.
Hopefully this will make my touring bike a bit more fun to ride.

The current SL6 model is a whopping € 5,2K. Of course these are not the same: Ultegra vs Di2 105, for instance. In my dreams it'll be a lightweight titanium aero gravel bike with wide wheels and holes for mudguards and panniers weighing under 8kg... I may have to compromise! 🤣
