Time to start my next Tokusatsu series, and it's back to the Ultraverse after finishing Kamen Rider Kuuga.

So far, I have seen seven Ultra series: Ultraman, Ultraseven, Ultraseven X, Geed, Z, Trigger, and Decker. (Though not in that order.) Now it's time to go back... way back to the beginning, before there was even an Ultraman! My next Toku series is Ultra Q!

A very early childhood memory was seeing a photo Godzilla in a Swedish film encyclopedia. That made me obsessed by monster movies. Ultra Q (not affiliated with the political/religious right wing extremists) was the first big Japanese tv-show on the subject, which got a more famous followup: Ultraman.
