#Unbuntu finally 'snapped' my patience...

Little by little migrating all my desktops and servers to #Debian... 😉

My final humble conclusion is that a true #OpenSource project has to be run by a community and not by a corporation... 🤷‍♂️

@jwildeboer I totally dont understand the #RHEL position when compared to #Debian, #Unbuntu and their flavours and derivatives. OK there is some of the friction with snaps etc on Ubuntu related projects, but RHEL seems to have developed a Reddit like level of PR awareness

So working today via my #linux #Unbuntu laptop I setup over xmas..

Tried upgrading my wifes win8.1 pc to win10 because end of life and its crashing randomly looks like a hardware/mb issue really, new parts ordered but until then she's using my desktop and I'm on this old dell xps

Working well, razor headset and video camera up and going, not sure how to make multi monitor work in Remmina doesnt seem to do what you'd expect

OK so #Unbuntu #linux is working and I have steam installed (tho it seems to install packages every time it runs?)

wifi going video going, even the touch screen works

need a good look round at things now and find some stuff to install

music (tidal?) image editing, mebe some dev, anything fun?

time to call it quits tho for tonight
