It’s finally arrived: my Gold 2022 ENNIE for #UncagedGoddesses!

It was such a an incredibly cool and unexpected opportunity getting to be part of the legacy of the #UncagedAnthology series. I’m grateful to everyone who made Uncaged Goddesses the superb book that it is and to Sarah, Brock, Honey, Ink, Kari, Jesse, Isla, and of course Jess, @DavidMarkiwsky , and @gwendybee for bringing my adventure to the page!

The gold #ENNIE is for #UncagedGoddesses, which won this year for Best Adventure; the silver is from 2020, when #UncagedAnthology volume 3 (which I also helped edit) won for Best Electronic Book. I hadn’t requested a medal at the time because I didn’t have the money to spare. I asked Stacy if she still had some of that vintage around, and turns out she did!

My Dad knew about the awards, and he was so proud. I wanted desperately to be able to show these to both of my parents. He’d have been thrilled to hold them in his hands. I like to think that he’s looking on from above and beaming as he sees me hang these in my office. :meowhearthug:​

My name's Michael. I love writing and playing #TTRPGs, especially the emotional, character/story-focused kind. #Folklore is one of my biggest inspirations.

I was a contributor to the #DnD anthology #UncagedGoddesses and to the #comic series "Mango, The Last Dragon" by Piti Yindee.
