I should note that I checked the fiction podcasts I most often listen to ( ) and couldn't find anything that seemed to match. My memory of the story has a very Podcastley feel, so maybe I didn't look far enough back. (I sometimes get rather behind in my listening.)

Enjoyed this lengthy article on by Javier Grillo-Marxuach in .

Very film/TV centred, but I loved the focus on scattering universe-widening 'seeds' in your work, so that you (or others) have a rich garden of opportunities to harvest in the future of in that world.

Holy shit this story. This is what it feels like to exist as a member of a marginalized community in the U.S. right now. Every now and then there was a sentence that made my heart beat hard and then those moments came faster and clearer and then, kathump, understanding.

My disabled friends, we know this story. We know all these stories. This will remind you of some we've lost so please take care reading.

It's about survival in a world of lies when you're among the few who understand. It's about corporations and profit and deep loss. And it's a little bit about wheelchairs.

My chest hurts and I don't know if it's this story or long-covid. That's going to be bitterly hilarious after you've read it.

@disability , I think many of you might enjoy this story.

@JohnPicacio it’s not that quiet :) Like others have said, use hashtags like or other topics related. Search works via hashtags. There is no algo here so it’s about following people or following hashtags for content and making your content discoverable through hashtags

Want to know what a 14th century legal case has to teach us about storytelling? I reveal all in the latest issue of Uncanny Magazine. This is one of my favorite things I've had a chance to write recently, because I've always been obsessed with Chaucer as well as this period in British history. Also! You should buy a subscription to Uncanny! uncannymagazine.com/article/wh

Best short story I’ve read this week was hands down Samantha Mills’ “Rabbit Test” in the latest issue of Uncanny (read it here: uncannymagazine.com/article/ra)

Set both 20 seconds into the future and canvassing the past the story is a searing take on abortion, reproductive rights and surveillance tech.

Heed the CWs at the start and keep yourself safe, this story necessarily dives deep into difficult territory.
