I have experience in training hundreds of grassroots journalists for alternative media outlets such as #Undercurrents, #Indymedia, #VisionOnTV and #OMN,

Many of these people have gone on to work in NGOs and mainstream media. This is not a problem in itself, but it has led to the lack of sustainability of alternative media structures and my energy to keep doing this.

Under the differences is a common mindset (ideology) which comes from the #undercurrents of society, one of the strongest of these is #FOSS with its #4opens working. Then there is the netticate of the #openweb, and it's 30 years of organic history.
