They think an intern can do the work + unsupported? Without harming communities or themselves? I mean, it kind of feels like I wasted a year of my life developing evaluation policy and centering their questions about evaluation approaches and applications. After my position was dissolved, there was no evaluator on staff, and no one with the capacity to take it on.
