@jacopo_mazzeo Back in 2013 I visited Marionnet Henry - Domaine de la Charmoise. They had one Romorantin vineyard that predates Phylloxera as well as a red and white there were planted maybe 10 years earlier from vine cuttings. Like the comment in the article, I tasted both grafted and ungrafted versions of both the red and the white and found that the ungrafted versions were superior to the grafted versions. One interesting note, the very old vineyard produced a vin de france because the current rules "prevented" a romorantin vineyard in their area although they were only a few kilometers from Cour Cheverny where it was a permitted grape. #ungrafted #wine
