The steep path next to Vøyenfallene along Akerselva is pretty tricky on a #unicycle. I cycled up it earlier today and while it is not a long section it is a bit tricky to apply and maintain the force necessary, while still remaining balanced.

I did get up it (as I have done before) but it was touch and go today. 😉

[ It is the path along side this, which looks almost flat from that angle but anyone who has been to this part of Oslo will confirm is pretty steep.]

Evening #unicycle ride

I took off my mudguard the other day (after I got blood on it) and forgot to remount it.

Since it rained today and I did not want to get a mud stripe up my back I got on the bus. Unicycles are perfect for such multi-modal transport as they are so compact.

Lots of rain expected today in #Oslo. In fact it is already raining a bit right now.

A couple of colleague were suprised that I unicycled in but to steal a phrase from the Dutch,

"Ik ben niet gemaakt van suiker."

(I am not made of sugar [so will not dissolve in the rain])

So far I don't think I have been put off by any of the weather Oslo has thrown at me. Silly amounts of snow, thunderstorms, it's all fine.

#criticalmass in July. #Tallbike and #unicycle on our way to the river beach party where we watched the sun set and danced to some #pirate music. The unicycle was almost as tall as the tallbikes. #BikeTooter

On the way in I also went up to the roof of Oslo #Operahuset again. I feel like it is a habit now. 😆

I cycled up this time (I walked previously) because it is so much easier on a #unicycle.
