Early on with the #WorldWideWeb — there were:
• #URL (Uniform Resource Location)
• #URN (Uniform Resource Name)
• #URC (Uniform Resource Characteristic)
...
Today people tend to be very familiar with URLs (and URIs).
A small percentage of -people are aware of URNs.
And almost no one is familiar with URCs.
