guitar noises & big peaks at #UnionPool in #brooklyn by the tour-freshened #GarciaPeoples (including "tough freaks"/"stray cats") & #ChrisForsyth & co. (including through-the-roof joyous version of television's "friction"). got sucked into conversation & missed purling hiss. they're all back tomorrow.

I took this photo 4 years ago tonight at #UnionPool in Brooklyn. This is one of my absolute favorite shows ever attended. It was part of #RyleyWalker’s March 2019 residency there, and he was joined by #SteveGunn & #RyanJewell for about 37 minutes of glorious improv. It was recorded by Jonas Blank from @nyctaper & subsequently released on vinyl via Ryley’s #HuskyPantsRecords. Oh, what a night.
