What is this number in the BLAST results? The first number is identity-% and the last is Expect value, but this remains a mystery. It is not the length of the alignment or anything else I can think of...

Here the fun morning puzzle walking through the #uniprot query api with #fsharp and they have their own pagination scheme, returning the next cursor token in the header of the result. A little #recursion, a #regexp and we are up and scraping
