78 followers · 577 posts · Server mas.toI went to do #TaiChi this morning with my Grandpa at the Salt Lake City #Library. It's a program the #UnitarianUniveralist church (I think) runs for the #homeless. Free coffee and breakfast burritos, and cigs at the end.
It was nice to get up and get moving (pretty early for me! 9:30 🤪) and it was good to chat a bit with some folks I normally just drive past. They're human beings too, ya know? It's good to remember that.
It's every Mon, Wed, and Thurs. Love to see you there.

I grew up in churches where members came up and introduced themselves to make friends *with the new folks.* For weeks on end because they know it takes time to get to know a church full of people. And because they want to get to know anyone who is new.
If this kind of welcome isn't a part of your church's culture, your church is unwelcoming.
