Worrying:

A lot of soul searching requires by both Islamic and Liberal communities.

The aggressive (but non-violent) acts of expression directed at Islamic institutions (in the form of book burning) is the same that was once experienced by Christian institutions. This expression towards Christianity only quelled when it’s institutions started to admit its wrongdoings and negligence.

So long as followers of the ‘Religion of Peace’ tolerates violence directed at people who struggle to find reason to follow or respect Islam, then we will only see further escalation.

... sadly, its also a fact that people tend to be apathetic until the proverbial 'Pearl Habour' hits their neighbourhood - ironically, Pearl Harbour would have never happened has the US respected racial equality, cementing the way for Japan's fledgling liberal democracy to stabalise and not be threatened by the Imperial nationalist movement.
