So like… is #Universedon borked, or??? Because every time I’ve tried going to universedon.com on any device for the past week it’s just loaded a blank page.

I can't migrate my account because the #universedon instance is down while I do understand there is maintenance happening I haven't been able to open it today yesterday it was very slow notifications were delayed by 30 min+ posts take 5-10 sec longer than they should to go through

Ooh, now that rings a bell with me.

I reported two #Universedon users for using a well known transphobic slur.

@lily suspended both the accounts straight away on this instance.

However, nothing at all was done about it on #Universedon. The accounts (and AFAIK the slur) are still there.

If I had evidence of more of this type of thing from that instance, I would be happy to call for a fediblock

I hope this is in part a response to the #Universedon admin, Byron Miller. I had a run-in with him a month ago where he immediately resorted to stuff from the Alt-right / channer / rationalist playbook.

Byron blocked me (blocking is fine btw) after I replied to him with receipts of him doing some of the things above like misrepresenting the sequence of events in his favor.

We got a big problem folks if most of the user growth happens on mastodon.social it will make it easier for people like Musk to buy the entire #fediverse and if that happens game over for us all. Mastodon.social doesn't have to be your only option if you want advanced search come over to #universedon which is run by @supernovae if you want a higher character limit also come to universeodon which has 1000 calckey.social has 3000

Trying to set up an account for someone on #Universedon but the #confirmation #email never comes - have sent multiple requests..any #tips?? What gives?? 🙄

@Kokorami Once you click on the hashtag, you will see posts like this. You can reply, boost, favorite, bookmark or share these posts as you scroll through. If you click on the user, it will take you to their profile where you can click follow. If they're on #universedon.com server then the follow happens automatically. Otherwise, you may have to copy their @ username @ server.com into the search bar and click the plus to find them and follow (this is being improved in many mobile apps)
