I grew up absolutely worshipping #JimiHendrix. Over the years I’ve covered a lot of great classic bands and players—Yes, Zappa, Steely Dan—but I always had too much reverence (and fear?) to cover Hendrix. Finally the guys at one point about 10 years ago convinced me to take a crack at this tune from #BsndOfGypsies. Here’s the rehearsal.

I’ve been a #JimiHendrix obsessive since I was 14 years old when my super hip grandmother bought me the #RainbowBridge record shortly after it was released.

Over the years, apart from an occasional stabs at Little Wing. A few years back I finally decided to tackle another cover for our setlist. Here we are rehearsing it, #univibe and all.
