Oof. Just as I was starting to feel irritated by an #unmasked man who sat next to me on the train, he got up for his stop, and I noticed a #Confederate flag patch on his jacket as he left. (Definite code here, as any #Nazi symbolism is outlawed)

I’m late for a meeting, not sure if it would have been worth it to confront him.

Being the only #mask wearing person at a party has made me feel like I am some kind of #COVID chicken.

Today it occurred to me that there are probably lots of other people who aren’t ready to go #unmasked at a party—they’re just too high risk to attend at all, or they aren’t up for the extreme discomfort of being the lone mask wearer.

I am going to try to live with that discomfort in the hope it makes it easier for other people to socialize with their masks on, too.

Just found out I was exposed to #COVID via a coworker who’d unknowingly been in the office, #unmasked, while #infectious. Will be #testing today, Sat, and Tue of next week.

My #spoonie #immunocompromised self is hoping I got lucky and didn’t get it. I’m in the very beginning of the window where I would start showing symptoms and/or get a positive result.

I sit in a space, #masked, with a window open and two (personal property) HEPA air filters so the odds are in my favor.
