I've just finished #Unsighted and I'm in awe. It took me nine hours to finish it, and it is incredible how much you get to care about the characters.

Also, the gameplay is solid and the combat engaging. It's a very well done mix of #metroidvania, with new acquired abilities allowing you to access new areas or traverse others more efficiently, and Zelda, with multiple dungeons that include solving puzzles and finding keys.

Are you a fan of Metroid, Zelda, or Dark Souls? Well, Unsighted is a graceful fusion of each while adding it's own distinct story, world, and mechanics. Unsighted has quickly become one of the best indie titles I've ever played and you should play it to!

Question for #accessibility and #unsighted Mastodon. How acceptable are emojis in picture descriptions? I just used 🚫 in addition to the text “restriction symbol”. Could I have just used 🚫? The #iOS screen reader seems to handle it by reading the Unicode name of the #emoji, which shows that I could just use the emoji. Advice and pointers appreciated.

I'm playing #Unsighted #videogame (on Switch) and loving every minute (and hour⸮) of it.

It's a brilliant mix of 2D Zelda and Hyper Light Drifter, with a (deactivable) time limit to save the world.
Combat gameplay is excellent, with varied enemies and clever bosses to really make it shine.
I'm not fond of time limits in general, but in this case it's a genius idea that gives the game its unique flavour of urgency, making you fear of losing friends, pushing to speed from one place to the next.
