Finally, after almost two weeks of constant chores and work, I found some time to game again. 😁
Because it's coming up on "Watch out for fireballs" (for me -- I've got a loooong podcast backlog, but I'm catching up), I gave #TheQuarry a shot. Only managed to play 40 minutes or so, but it has already gotten it's hooks into me. The atmosphere is great. 🤩
So far I've only ever played #UntilDawn and have been looking forward to another Supermassive Games title for a while now.

(Apparently I had it in my game library already - after downloading I could 'resume game' and was somewhere in the prologue. I then remembered I once gave it a whirl, but coming from Naughty Dog's Uncharted 4, the gameplay felt weird and somehow restricted. But after The Quarry I've gotten used to it and am now far into the story.)

Why does #TheQuarry just feel like an interactive movie? Sure, half of the control given to the player in #UntilDawn was superficial, but at least it felt productive.

Finished #UntilDawn last night. Quite enjoyed it. Not a perfect game, mostly in that if you want to replay, you have to replay EVERYTHING, and there's no way to skip dialog/scenes you've already seen before. But it's a fun game, interesting premise, even though I called one of the "major" twists early in the game. Highly recommended if you enjoy #horror and haven't played it.
