30 years ago today was the blackest, worst day in human history. In the city called Sivas, intellectuals, democrats and revolutionaries come together to read poems and sing folk songs. The Islamist fascist gang stoned the hotel for 8 hours. In the evening of the day, the place where our beautiful person was staying was set on fire. The state supported the murderers. No one was punished for 30 years. 33 beautiful people, artists, poets, young people and children died in screams.

Hasret Gültekin... A life spanning 21 years, dozens of songs and poems... He directed 5 solo albums and albums of dozens of different artists. A virtuoso of the instrument, a revolutionary of instruments and music... A powerful voice and a revolutionary life. His instrument still guides young artists. Muhlis Akarsu... One of the greatest masters of Turkish folk music. His works are still in languages. His own works and hundreds of compilations he made by working for years in the villages of Anatolia. She was only 45 years old when she and her husband Mühibe Akarsu were burned to death by Islamist fascists in the Madımak Hotel in Sivas.

Our people were stoned for 8 hours in a hotel by the fascist state-sponsored Islamist fascists just because of their beliefs. Poets, artists and young people of Alevi faith were burned to death. When Koray Kaya was killed along with his older sister, Menekşe Kaya, Menekşe 14 Koray was just 12 years old...
