@ChrisWere Oh, another one that I saw from dt's channel was #unvanquished, that one's fun.

There's also this FOSS 2d game adventure called "Vegan on a Desert Island" which looks AWESOME, but I don't know if it has been abandoned.

#unvanquished is a pretty different FPS than most, since you can make buildings, some of which are turrets, and aliens move very differently.

The one you start with can walk on walls/ceilings, which is pretty disorienting when you do it i guess. You're sometimes trying to stalk humans and trying to bite their head.

It seems like compared to Tremulous, they removed the ability to put some alien buildings on walls, i think that's a bad call. Eggs should be hanging from the ceiling.

Had fun playing #unvanquished.

Used to play Tremulous(the predecessor) a bunch, but was still a bit confusing to play.. Looks like the text when you hover over a buy/evolve option is broken. (also would be good that if the install is new and you look at a building for a while, it showed you it's name & function) Generally there are a bunch of ways the UI could be better sometimes. (like showing you how many eggs there are left in a more "alieny"/humany way.

Gonna play some #unvanquished now. Aliens Wrath server i guess, because it has people in it.

Note: slightly confusingly the program to play the game is named "daemon".
