Also interesting to see someone using #rangeengine. How are you liking it? I saw it mentioned somewhere awhile ago, tho #UPBGE looks a lot cooler to me personally.
@subdivided_xyz I might be wrong, but my understanding is that geometry nodes can be evaluated in Blender's game engine, #UPBGE, during runtime, though I don't see many folks doing it.
@FromLefcourt I definitely recommend Blender, the madness you can do with it doesn't end. Especially with #geometrynodes or cool projects like #UPBGE
If you're getting started with Blender though, Blender Guru's Donut Tutorial is a great introduction to most of the main modelling features.

The 'final fight' system works my game... players have the breif ability to aim in a final 'attempt to save themselves'.
Should a simple target reticle pop up for aiming? ...Or should I make a detailed target that conforms to contours of the monsters body?i've seen other games have 'close attacks' bring up a fancier cursors.

Finished coding in the "final fight" system! Still a bit buggy, but now players can make a last ditch effort to attack a monster if they get grabbed.

I'd love to see an article on the best #FOSS #gameengines to use by non coders for #gamedev.
Currently #Godot's "visual scripting" has nodes but, by design, you basically still need to know how to code to use them. #Armory has an easy to use node system but is very alpha and chock full of major bugs. #Gdevelop looks nice but basic. #Upbge is promising, but I think I heard was maybe not maintained any more? What else have I missed?
