For those of you who use a sitting/standing desk, how long do you stand for before sitting and vice versa?

Do you stand for certain things you're doing and sit for certain things you do?

Tell me how you sit and stand at your desk as I'm curious since I just got mine assembled yesterday.

Wondering if there's any right or wrong way one should do the sit and stand increments.

It's been a chore to get all of this together, but the desk is finally fully assembled and in place.

I still need to do cable management, which I'll likely not do until tomorrow.

One picture is of it in the raised position for when I'm standing, the second is in the lowered position for when I'm sitting.

Tomorrow is the day I finally get to assemble my UpLift L-Shaped desk and I'm pretty excited.

Not excited about having to spend a few hours assembling it and moving everything from the old desk to the new desk. Excited about getting to use it afterwards.

I'm really hoping I enjoy it and hoping it gives me a bit more room so I can change my setup slightly for things I want done differently on my desk.

How's everyone doing and what's on the agenda for the day today?

For me, my UpLift Desk is due to arrive via FedEx at some point today. Therefore, I'm hoping to get it assembled, the old desk moved out and everything moved over to the new desk.

It's likely going to be quite a bit of work assembling the new desk.

My UpLift Desk is being delivered tomorrow and it's coming in a total of 6 packages via UPS. Total weight is about 250 pounds, which is absolutely mind blowing.

I'm so excited for this to arrive and to get it all assembled. I think it's going to be a nice, but different, experience standing at times at a desk to do work and other things.

Who here has a standing/sitting desk from somewhere like UpLift and is willing to share their thoughts on what they have?

I'm thinking of getting one but would love to hear thoughts from others who already have one. What to look for, what not to look for, accessories and anything else of importance.

I know @xoomdev just recently got one about a week ago, so curious as to your thoughts on it so far.
