Ok fellow Masto admins. I have a few notes about setting up a new #instance. This #server runs on Linode, which work well. #Uploads are supported through #S3, which I like although configuring the policies, users and groups was a bit difficult. Email support for #SMTP is through smtp2go.com which honestly I cannot recommend enough.

One question: does anyone know how I might go about bumping up the max length for these posts?

@p0welly Yes, it's been bad here, seemingly #uploads just freeze, but they are trickling away in the background. It's taken 20-30 mins sometimes, which obvs not great. Other, larger instances may not have that issue.

It's probably not isolated to this instance, I suspect the large influx of new accounts may be a factor in the delay/freeze on this and other instances.
