I had a single piece of uranium glass and was searching for another. Online, I was finding cups and saucers for over $30. I found an antique shop that had several racks of uranium glass and got a pair of cups and saucers for about $11 each. I passed up an absolutely spectacular silver and glass pickle castor for $150. Again looking on line, I saw similar ones on eBay going for over $500 so the $150 one (they actually had a pair) might be a deal.

Because I have a general interest in #radioactivity I collected some #uraniumglass and #uranium glazed items over the years.

Luckily the area in the #netherlands where I live has a rich history in especially earthenware production. So called #plateel was produced by many factories and can be easily found in antique shops. It also has nice #artnouveau decorations.
