@Loukas @Eceni I am member of an #urbanist/ #YIMBY organization that I helped to form in the United States (Rhode Island, to be exact). We advocate for more housing, more mixed-use, more density, and more non-car options: to meet immediate human needs + for climate.

We are trying to scale while maintaining a fully democratic and transparent structure where every activist is engaged, not just a few "leaders."

I am also a member of Climate Action Rhode Island.

Would love to be a union member.

I don’t drive, I don’t think it’s good for the environment, my health (mental) or other drivers for me to do so. The state of worcester’s bus service is making me contemplate it big time.

Am I a bad person who has lost their morals if I try learning to drive? I don’t know. Many cool looking small EVs though.

Crazy new #urbanist idea: retail parking cash out. If a store validates parking they're required to give anyone who doesn't validate their parking a discount equivalent to the value of the subsidized parking.

Looks like there is a new, New York State assemblymember Zohran Mamdani (36th AD: Astoria, Ditmars-Steinway, Astoria Heights) looking out for pedestrian / cyclist safety.

Heavier cars kill. Their fees should be commensurate with that increased risk. Even EV. (Also lighter vehicles are more #climate friendly!)

And so, I am continuing my efficacy of #NYPD enforcement of moving violations for #TrafficViolence investigation.
Very basic for now, but I have a scatterplot.

Going to build up these pandas arrays (add in camera enforcement, temperature, precipitation, ???) and see what falls out of a random forest.
