Scientist Dr. Carl Hart, author of the forthcoming book "Drug Use for Grown-ups," helps debunk (and confirm!) some common myths about drugs... Is marijuana really a gateway drug? Is the opioid crisis getting worse? Are drugs more addictive than alcohol?

My sister introduced me to the Gen Z urban legend that is "The Backrooms," and there are some takes on it that I really like. Some people say you like fall through the floor or something, which is whatever, but I like the stories about people who just get lost while navigating a building and wind up there unknowingly.
It's like #TheBlackLodge from #TwinPeaks meets some creepy #dreamcore shit, and I'm here for it.
Seems like there's no cohesive lore for it, it's just a lot of people making up their own versions, but there are some common threads among them and some are pretty cool.
Though I'm not sure where the obsession with waterslides and random balls sliding down them comes from. There are always waterslides. đ€

Some folklore from my native Texas. I find this story particularly interesting because multiple cultures have some variation on it, and in the version told around the Rio Grande Valley, the devil has chicken feet (or one chicken foot and one cloven hoof).
"Though variations of the story change, it was discovered that, as the couple danced, the handsome stranger, assumed to be the devil, had one hoof and one chickenâs talon in place of feet."

PÀdagogische RÀume könnten mit #SaubereLuft versorgt werden. Der Minister bedient sich #UrbanMyths und schlÀft lieber.

@sanjanah This sounds like concerned people repeating transphobic myths like kids identifying as cats (didn't happen) or #Pizzagate or other harmful misinformation and #UrbanMyths. It endangers people's lives. I had to suggest to a volunteer in an anti-racism group that, maybe practising using ChatGPT wouldn't be a great idea ...
