What spoon-bending #charlatan #UriGeller is describing is a well-known #phenomenon known as the #BaaderMeinhof Phenomenon, or "#frequency bias". But in his mind, it's spectacular proof of #aliens. Uri routinely panders to the #uncritical, #credulous mind, and this is no different. You can safely discard anything this guy has to say.

When he's not trying to pass off photos from the X-Files as legit, he's bending spoons, and engaging in stage hypnosis. It's amazing to me that after 40+ years of this shtick, there are people who apparently still think he's the real deal.

I read the David Segal NYT article about #UriGeller this weekend, in greater and greater disbelief as I read such simpering credulous rhetoric of an obvious charlatan.

I think the saddest part of this story is how Uri Geller's career took off after he was publicly humiliated on national late night TV. While the Amazing Randi's career never took off to the same extent even though Randi could not only easily debunk Uri Geller but he could make Uri look like an idiot at the same time.
