I created this Twin Towers silhouette impression many years ago. This year I've changed it from white columns on black to black on white, added blur, grain, & vignette.

The memory of 2001 isn't fading–but, it is subsumed by the 22 years of life and world events since. The iconic buildings would be 50 yrs old, now. In 6 years they'll have been gone for as long as they stood.

In Y2K, the ancient wisdom of the legendary Meow Tzu was collected by Michael Kent in "Meow Te Ching" (Gramercy Books 2001), recently arrived here at Bonnett's.

I could've shown off our Eric Stanton fetish art books, Hemingway editions from the '40s, a horror coloring-book (you'll need a lot of red crayons), or any number of other neat things – but, it's Caturday. Enjoy!

OtD 1966, Star Trek premiered on U.S. TV. I saw some in 1st run on a small b&w. I've been a fan since. In March '23: my 1st phaser! I used a shot of the bridge for this FPS-type pic. 2 wks ago I got a Lucille Ball Barbie™ to honor her contribution in Trek's existence. 2 days ago I reunited with my '80s library, >50% Trek!

Open today, 9/7/23, from 6-9p. Did I forget to photograph books again? Obviously. Here's a rare portrait of the elusive Bridgette for #WhiskerWednesday. She's my phantom cat–appearing silently from nowhere, vanishing as if she'd never been. She won't be held but she loves to loved.

Note: In the distant past, over 40 years ago, #BonnettsBooks had a store cat, but no more. There's plenty of mayhem without a furball knocking over our toy collections. 😉
