I am finally quitting using #Windows on my main machine, the motherfucker totally corrupted my #btrfs data partition while trying to install #GTAV and #lossless albums onto it. The part started "locking" itself down, started to get cheskum errors and now im about to lose about 100gb on music, roms and games because of corporate garbage. This could be also a #usererror that could've been prevented if windows made things easier for alternative #filesystems but they want market for themselves.

My brain doesn't really comprehend the category of #todo applications particularly well.

And before I go any further, I want to say that I'm not disparaging them in any way. They (again, broadly) can be a lifesaver for people who are #neurodivergent, for example, and my problems with them are probably #usererror and my own failings.

So screen reader dictionaries are funny things. I made an entry for the word "chi" I made it pronounce with a long E sound. I then became baffled when schism, chicken, and chill all started to sound completely jacked up. Confounded technology! #UserError :disability_flag:

I spent sooo many hours trying to get #remix to work with #fusionauth but I just couldn't get fetch to work properly. And since it was the first time I was using Remix and they had their own implementation of fetch, I thought the "connection closed" errors were because of something weird in Remix.

Nope. I forgot I was in a container making calls in Remix, so I was hitting localhost:9011 instead of fusionauth:9011.

That's time I'm never getting back...

Even if the sewing machine *is* threaded properly, and even if it *does* have the appropriate foot on it (I'm finally using my zipper foot!), the user still must line the fabric up with the right sides together and *also* not rotate the piece by 180° so it doesn't line up-- good thing I have a seam ripper. And I'd sewn that zipper in so well, too.

What if I take a break for dinner, a drink, and Thursday Night Football... and try this again tomorrow?

I'm afraid what it appears to be is some sort of #usererror. I sign up for things or reset my password, on my phone and on my tablet. The new password works to get me in once. The next time I try to sign in, with the username and password I wrote down, it says the password is wrong, every damned time.

I read about instrumentation amplifiers and found it interesting that they are often just 3 op-amps. I don't have any low-noise op-amps, but I decided to try to build one out of a TL074 anyway.

I hooked up the scope to the output and powered it on and thought: Huh? Why is it oscillating with the inputs shorted?

Then I noticed the frequency - the ever present (in this part of the world) 60Hz hum. It turns out, I forgot to hook up the scope probe ground lead. Sigh. #UserError #Electronics
