I can’t believe how much I learned today about how people with #visual #impairments navigate the web. Totally recommend doing testing with real people!

The terms we use matter imo.

Consider how a participant behaves in a usability test if we swap out the term 'usability testing' for 'user testing'.

The term 'usability testing' reassures the participant that it is the system/solution being tested while the term 'user testing' implies that it's the person not the software under scrutiny.

If you want to spoil your experiment and create anxious participants then #UserTesting is a great term
