The father says that ever since complaining about this visibly intoxicated officer he's had patrol cars idling infront of his home all of the time.

On Jan 24th the police chief placed the cop on administrative leave.

They suggested without evidence that the cop could have a medical condition.

A Black father returned home to find police officers waiting. One cop was "high out of his mind."

Why were the cops here?

They were present to enforce a court ordered visitation plan. This plan left the father with very limited hours he's allowed to see his son.

At the end of the visit he was expected to allow these officers to take his child back to the mother.

What a disaster US policing is.

Across the feed tonight I'm seeing the case of Jason Kloepfer.

He was injured by North Caroline police after he awoke to cops at his door. He followed orders and came out with his hands up, his partner at his side following suite.

That was his crime.

Cops almost killed a man over coming out with his hands up.

I don't understand why Jason Van Dyke was put in prison in the first place for shooting to death Laquan McDonald who was threatening him and his collegues with a knife.

Like on the released video the Laguan McDonald is running in the middle of the (seemingly) busy street with a knife and refusing to comply with a police officer's orders who is aiming a gun at him, then he gets shot when he turns towards the officer..

I would agree that using man catcher, pepper spray or worst case scanario tazer would be more appropriate, but none is training the US police to use either of these non-lethal (excluding tazer that can be very lethal) solutions -> You can't blame the police officer for doing what they are trained to do.

.. the shooting when he's laying on the ground was also exessive.
