@Welshracer Not the widest on-screen age gap by a long chalk.
You're watching "that channel" on the telly. You wait until you find the "romance" channels, full of movies where two fortysomething actors pretend to be twentysomethings finding true love.
Spoiler: Girl escapes city life to a small midwestern town for some reason, to encounter bloke who turns out to be true soulmate, often with obligatory Christmas shopping as a date.

#YoungAndHungry is finally on the telly in my part of the world.
The TiVo has just surprised me.
#EmilyOsment doing dirty jokes is ... somewhat jarring, given the TV movies and the like.
But this is just terribly bad completely aside from that. Massive stereotyping; clichéd setup; annoying laughter track; no variations in rhythm. The programme guide tells me that this lasted for 5 seasons. Good grief!
The TiVo is probably going to auto-record all of them.

20th versus 21st century #USTelly :
Nowadays, if the Bad Guy claims "I didn't have a choice." the Good Guy almost without exception piously asserts "You always have a choice.". It's pretty much versicle and response.
In #KnightRider in the 1980s, however, Michael Knight just made an annoyed face and shouted "I don't know what that means!".

@oldbritishtelly This raises an interesting question.
Why is Sentinel-1 less memorable than bloody 7-Zark-7?
Maybe it's because the only halfway decent reimagining of ancient Greek mythology as space superheroes was #Ulysses31.

"Eh Florida"? Is Canadian telly producing a whole new genre of sitcom?
"About 10 years ago", C One Espresso in #Christchurch, New Zealand, installed #PneumaticTubes, and about 10 years ago The Thundermans was on the telly.
Only Tom Scott would find the real life Splatburger.
(The first #TheThundermans episode with #Splatburger aired on 2014-11-01 according to a fan WWW site.)

"What do you mean about #Pandora's production values?"
Pandora was utter rubbish. Not only was the acting sub-par, with at least one actor unable to deliver any line with the appropriate inflection, but the production values were ridiculously bad. The set dresssers didn't bother dressing the student dorm rooms to look like anyone lived in them, the same 1 establisher was used ad nauseam, and one outdoor shot of an uninhabited planet showed some houses and a road.
So the system that gave us #BattleOfThePlanets in the 1970s is alive and well in the 2020s, then.
One cheer for U.S. re-makes of other countries' telly stuff? (-:

I'm not surprised to read the news that NCIS: Los Angeles is cancelled. It's had visible problems for some time. Through no fault of production or cast. They've tried very hard to cope, but it just has not worked.
