I have spent a good chunk of this evening calling people in California and Texas on behalf of my employer.

Much of my time was spent trying to get people to understand what I was saying.

My accent isn't even that thick 😭 I understood everyone fine 🙃

Oscar Wilde was right in The Canterville Ghost:

"We have really everything in common with America nowadays except, of course, language".
