During the #PPCChallenge I've been using a Logitech G MX518 mouse (which I also use on all of my modern machines). However, I've been encountering some weird cursor jumpiness issues in Mac OS X Tiger and Leopard.

It turns out, these OSes have some issue when dealing with mice that have a fast reporting rate (like this one). All I had to do to fix it was connect it to a PC running Logitech Gaming Software, and change the reporting rate to 125 MHz. No more jumpiness, and I can aim in #UT2004 now!

Recién me merendé con la noticia de que #EpicGames va a darle el punto final a los servers de sus juegos más viejos, lo que significa que la saga #Unreal entera pasa a convertirse en #Abandonware (incluido el primer #UnrealTournament e incluso #UT2004) y el #UT4 va a dejar de existir por completo. Solo el UT3 tiene algo parecido a un futuro convirtiéndose en un F2P.

Al menos (dedos cruzados porque los abogados de Epic no manden C&D) los parches de OldUnreal van a permitir jugar a Unreal Gold y UT por un buen tiempo.

Como fan de la saga, duele, pero realística y objetivamente era una cuestión de tiempo. La vaca sagrada de Epic hace rato que pasó a ser #Fortnite.

Well, thanks #lastpass. What was supposed to be a delightful day off playing #UT2004 with the kids before xmas was actually a day of resetting passwords. I actually wish you told us about the real impact of the #lastpasshack in September or October - heck - I'd even take November at a push - just not 2 days before Christmas.

Here's the last UT2004 model I worked on (that never released), Pirotess from Record of Lodoss War. i was frustrated over weight issues (clipping and legs/hands bending). Still like the head though

A decade ago, I used to make models for UT2004. This was one of them. The texture wasn't very good, but the mesh turned out interesting anyway. There were no additional bones for the tail/hair.

I did stealth release this one, I stopped making models once the original Epic Games forums were shut down as that was my main interaction with the UT2 scene - which scattered since.
