One week before the election, and until now I had no idea that two LGBTQ+ candidates are running for StG City Council! Since I'll be voting to keep incumbent Dannielle Larkin, my other two votes will go to Katheryne Knight and Austin Hodges. I'm a bit worried about "throwing away" my vote in what could be a very close primary, because the Deplorables are united on their three-person slate (Bennett, Mackey, Smith) that must be defeated at all costs. Vote Sept. 5.
