And Kim Hye-soo as the Queen, in "Under the Queens Umbrella" was really fun to watch! She brought her independent and strong woman style to the character. Her steady eyes really show the intensity and emotions. The series has some light comical moments mixed with serious who royal court intrigue.
Overall, enjoyable, except for the slight slowness before the final two episodes.

Final verdict: I enjoyed this thoroughly! There was suspense throughout but it never left us out of breath? It felt human. Wrongs were righted. And so much love throughout (positive trans rep ftw!). The evil characters loved too. They weren’t one-dimensional. Heck, even Prince Asshole seems to have learned that greed and ambition aren’t everything, and that he cares about his mom so that’s a win!
I’m just sad the youngest of the 4 brothers didn’t get his own arc. #UTQU #kDrama
Had to stop watching after ep15. My current theory is that the Crown Prince either will give up his position in favour of his nephew (who rightfully should have be named Crown Prince after all) or keep it but name him Crown Prince. The former is more likely I think. Plus, he doesn’t care about not having kids, so on top of doing the right thing he’d solve a problem. #UTQU #kDrama
My first thought was that the baby has to be Prince what’s-his-name’s and Cho-wol’s but it doesn’t seem like there’s been nearly enough time?
Then again, we have no idea how much time has passed exactly between the end of the contest and the selection for the Crown Princess, so who knows… #UTQU #kDrama
