Because 'Unitarian Universalism' are big words people think that what we do is really complicated. It's not. Religious Educators are explaining this to four year olds and they get it. It's adults that make it complicated. #UUAGA #UUAGA23

There is a misconception that UUs can believe whatever we want. No. We are here to center love liberation and community care. #UUAGA #UUAGA23

Do we want to support our youth, or do we want to be an elder community center? #UUAGA #UUAGA23

We lose a lot of young adults when they age out of our youth programs because we don't offer 'play'. Adults also need play and creative options. #UUAGA #UUAGA23

Come-inners that joined UU have often grown up in a different theological tradition, they don't know our history. We need adult religious education. #UUAGA #UUAGA23

If what is happening in your sanctuary doesn't match what is happening with your youth religious education, you are doing it wrong. #UUAGA #UUAGA23

I got to meet with some of the Unitarian Universalist Association board members and discuss their perspective on the business resolution to divest our endowment from all fossil fuels. Sadly they didn't think it was a good idea.
