Obviously it’s been effectively eons since I went to #UVic but I’m today learning that they’ve utterly ruined any architectural beauty in the stadium by putting differently-sized cellular transmitters at the top of every spire.

The proposed 10% increase to campus housing & #FoodPrices is a rate well above the allowed 2% increase for ongoing #RentalLeases governed by the #BCTenancyAct & average 6% #MenuInflation currently seen at restaurants. This is the highest percentage increases by BC #universities for upcoming school .

#LawFoundationOfBritishColumbia announced it is increasing its total commitment to NCIL to $11million, boosting initial $5million #funding #commitment to help complete the new centre. The foundation is #UVicLaw ’s largest #donor since the inception of the faculty in 1976.

#NorthernBC residents recently participated in the 2023 #KawaskimhonMoot , a #court #competition that has #participants from nearly every #LawSchool in #Canada .
The competition took place earlier this month and was hosted by #UVIC #FacultyOfLaw.
#Kawaskimhon is a #nêhiyawêwin (#Cree #language) word that means “speaking with #knowledge .”

An audience member spoke up about a time where they went on a "law firm tour" and at the top of the tour, there was a 20 min. #IDEA discussion featuring an Indigenous partner. 1/
