Woke up early this morning just in time to see #UWNT lose to #SWE in penalties at the #FIFAWWC

As a USA fan, I am sad. I couldn't help but feel that this is really a major generational change. It felt like we kept waiting for the stars of the previous 2 world cups--Morgan, Rapinoe, O'Hara, etc.-- to show up. But they weren't quite their old selves, and the opposition has gotten better.
