I am not one to put devices on the network and letting them run wild forever unchecked so I created a wireless network specifically for it so that I can just turn off that WiFi AP now that setup is complete. Our house is very small and poky, and unsuitable for a robot vac. We have an old stick vac, which has already had one battery replacement.
So we’re shopping for a new vacuum cleaner. Barrel, and probably bagless.
Has to be good at picking up dog hair and my hair from old, grooved, wooden floorboards and be easy to maintain, because the number of hours I have spent cleaning the old rotating brush head on the other vacuum cleaner could have been far more productively spent!
