It was as bad as I imagined 😞

We have no world-class surgeons. No experts. No pioneers.

At best, they're competent.

At worst, they're butchers who should be struck off the medical register.

Well according to this study, there's no real difference in using a hip skin graft in #vaginoplasty. The more I search, the more I'm convinced it's not worth the wait and electrolysis to use scrotal skin over a hip graft.

"The additional use of full-thickness skin graft does not influence neovaginal shrinkage, nor does it affect the patient- and physician-reported aesthetic or functional outcome."

Has anyone had full-depth #vaginoplasty with a skin graft from the hip rather than scrotal skin? I’m looking for pros and cons other than the scar (which I don’t care about). The main pros being A) no electrolysis needed, and B) scheduling in months rather than a year or more. Pretty compelling if it’s the same outcome!

I had a #vaginoplasty in October, and the last several weeks have been a blur. I haven't had the mental ability to do much, do I skipped #NaNoWriMo this year.
