in my very specific, but abstract for the sake of vagueing it up to avoid naming anything specific, it helped to have more than one person on a call.

it would have been more helpful if I had either strategically hit the "record" button on zoom when things were going sour, or if I had suddenly and mysteriously dropped the call (because the internet is not reliable).

not really a cheap lesson to learn.
