Hey! You're the one behind #valent! Awesome work.

When it comes to stability #phosh is an obvious winner, but that's not all I'm looking for. I wan't the aesthetics, smoothness and functionality of #gnome, and I think that only #gnomemobile will do that on a tablet. I can absolutely do with an unstable system. It's not my main device and I want to use it for experiments but my building-from-source abilities are not there yet.

About 5 years ago I started on my first KDE Connect client. KDE and the KDE Connect team have always been helpful, open and eager to work with others.

I'm very excited about Albert's plans and look forward to 10 more years of connecting our devices together!

If you've just started using #Valent, I'm letting you know I let a bad one through the cracks.

If it seems like your devices are all suddenly unpaired, they're not. But if your CPU starts spinning up, it could be Valent.

This would only affect you if you're using the nightly Flatpak repo, updated in the last 8 hours and then restarted Valent.

A fix has been pushed and a new build will be ready soon (x86_64 @ 5mins, aarch64 @ 30mins). Thanks for testing alpha-quality software!

@jr #GSConnect runs as a #Gnome shell extension, which basicly means it's Gnome exclusive. #Valent, while being built on Gnome libraries, can be run independently from Gnome.

The #KDEConnect protocol is slick. Just sent a tel: link via #GConnect on desktop, to #Valent on #phosh and over to Gnome Calls.
