Can you suggest readings that deal with the question of #validity and time? As in: does the validity of a measure have a shelf-life?

To my mind, a measures of (say) family interaction developed 40 years ago cannot be assumed to have remained valid. So validity evidence needs renewal, right?

Great to see the 2022 MPI Yearbook of European Procedural Law published! I contributed with a paper on the interplay between #bindingness and #validity in the #judicialreview of #EUlaw, focusing on the FBF case. I argue that a stark bifurcation of the question of validity from that of bindingness in #EUlaw has implications concerning the effects of EU law, as well as its application. The production of legal effects by an EU act (bindingness) is part of the broader assessment of validity.

Paper about Predictive Optimization challenges #legitimacy, presents #flaws, includes case studies. Seems to make us #rethink the #validity of such predictions.
Obviously, #automated decisions re. loans, hiring etc. can have great impacts on people and the #economy.

This article reports multiple studies on anti-Muslim attitudes.
The data do not clearly support the main claim, but some results are interesting.

Most interesting for me:
It is the first PUBLISHED study that relates an IAT to shooter bias in the weapons' task.
No significant main effect!!!

This confirms our finding with real police officers (Andersen et al.).
