Gregorio has a beautiful voice, is writing modern lyrics for a regional, folk music style from Colombia, and ... did I mention he absolutely crushes the accordion?

Gave this another listen this morning. Takes me back to my years in Bogotá in the 70's. I used to get a buseta to La Universidad de los Andes and the hour long journey was always enlivened by invigorating #vallenato. Main instruments:
caja vallenata: a small hand-beaten #drum
guacharaca: a wooden, ribbed stick rubbed by a fork
three row diatonic button #accordion
