They grow up so fast! 60cms of growth so far this year. Walnut (j. regia) bought last year at a nursery in southern Sweden. Kept in the root cellar for winter number one and planted out this spring in Swedish zone 3/4. The variety is called 'Broadview' and supposedly hardy enough for zone 4. Let's hope this little one and it's sibling 'Mars' and cousins survive the winter.
